Madison Academy offers a variety of sports programs for our youth. Athletes are coached by volunteer parents and offered an opportunity to learn and grow in their athletic ability while competing with other students in our area. Madison Academy offers baseball for students in grades 5 through 6 in the Spring of each year. Tryouts will take place in September. The athletes train from December through January and compete from the last week of January until the first week of March.

League: Tennessee Valley Basketball Association (TVBA)
- Grades: 3rd–6th grade boys (one team per grade, max 10 players)
- Cost: $185 (includes team registration, insurance, jersey, and team t-shirt)
Season: October–February | Regional Tournament (late February)
Final Four Tournament (early March)
Games:
Games played primarily on Saturdays (two per Saturday), weekday games possible (within 30 minutes of Madison)
- 12–16 games + tournament, depending on division level
Travel radius: 20 minutes–1.5 hours from Madison
Rules: NFHS rules apply; 20-minute halves; 28.5 balls for all grades
Practice Start Dates:
- 5th–6th Grade: Mid–Late September
- 3rd–4th Grade: Early October

Our program allows children to have fun, learn sportsmanship, and increase their knowledge of the game in a Christian environment.

Madison Academy's Youth Soccer Program participates in the City of Huntsville Parks and Recreation league. The soccer season lasts around nine weeks, starting in September and lasting through the end of October. We are also starting a new Spring League with other private schools and clubs from March through April.
Registration opens in early February for Spring League and July for Fall League and closes in early August. Watch the President's Newsletters for more information—cost: $125/player or one ad sold (request info).

The Madison Academy Youth Track and Field program is a spring sport that competes in the Huntsville Independent School League (HISL). Students in grades four through six enrolled in HISL member schools are eligible to participate. Other participating schools are as follows: Athens Bible School, Grace Lutheran, Holy Family, Holy Spirit, Lindsay Lane Christian, Oakwood Academy, Pineview Christian, Randolph School, St. John, Valley Fellowship, Westminster, and Whitesburg Christian.
The registration period opens in January and closes in February. Beginning in March and continuing through April, practices will be held three days a week at the Madison Academy Track and Field Complex. Athletes will compete in at least two regular-season track meets, and the championship meet typically takes place the first week of May.
Running Events: 50 Meter Dash, 100 Meter Dash, 200 Meter Dash, 400 Meter Dash, 800 Meter Dash 1600 Meter Run, 4 x 100 Meter Relay, 4 x 400 Meter Relay
Field Events: High Jump, Long Jump, or Board Jump (if long jump is not available) and Softball Throw
