The Madison Academy Youth Track and Field program is a spring sport that competes in the Huntsville Independent School League (HISL). MA athletes in grades four through six are eligible to participate in this league. Other participating schools are as follows: Athens Bible School, Grace Lutheran, Holy Family, Holy Spirit, Lindsay Lane Christian, Oakwood Academy, Pineview Christian, Randolph School, St. John, Valley Fellowship, Westminster, and Whitesburg Christian.
The registration period opens in January and closes in February. Beginning in March and continuing through April, practices will be held three days a week at the Madison Academy Track and Field Complex. Athletes will compete in a minimum of two regular-season track meets, and the championship meet typically takes place the first week of May.
Running Events: 50 Meter Dash, 100 Meter Dash, 200 Meter Dash, 400 Meter Dash, 800 Meter Dash 1600 Meter Run, 4 x 100 Meter Relay, 4 x 400 Meter Relay
Field Events: High Jump, Long Jump, or Board Jump (if long jump is not available) and Softball Throw
