Third Grade Teacher (Math and Science 2026-2027 School Year)
Madison Academy is seeking a full-time, dedicated, and passionate third grade teacher to teach math and science. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in instruction coupled with a clear testimony in faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to Christ-centered education. Candidates must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (PK4-3rd) or Elementary Education (K-6).
- Design and deliver engaging, rigorous, and standards-aligned instruction using required resources and auxiliary materials as needed.
- Adapt to meet the diverse learning styles and abilities of the students.
- Actively support students, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Assess student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Integrate biblical worldview principles into curriculum and instruction.
- Maintain accurate records, grades, and documentation required.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school activities.
- Support the mission, values, and spiritual life of the school community.
- State certification to teach in Alabama.
Elementary PE Teacher (2026-2027 School Year)
Madison Academy is seeking a full-time Elementary PE teacher for grades 2-8. The ideal candidate should have a developed relationship with the Lord coupled with the desire to actively supervise and engage with students in the physical education learning environment. We are seeking a candidate who is experienced in both elementary school and middle school in a variety of capacities in the PE classroom.
- Design and deliver activity-based instruction that actively engages all students.
- Adapt to meet the abilities of the students.

- Prior physical education experience in a school setting.
Middle School Math Teacher (2026-2027 School Year)
Madison Academy is seeking a full-time, dedicated, and passionate middle school math teacher. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in instruction coupled with a clear testimony in faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to Christ-centered education. Candidates must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and either have earned state certification or be eligible for state teaching certification.

- State certification to teach Alabama middle and/or high school mathematics
Upper School English Teacher (2026-2027 School Year)
Madison Academy is seeking a full-time, dedicated and passionate high school English teacher who is qualified to teach both traditional high school English courses and college-level dual enrollment classes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence in instruction coupled with a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a commitment to Christ-centered education. Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in English with at least 18 graduate-level credit hours in English or state certification to teach Alabama High School English.
