Pathways of Distinction

Portrait of a Graduate

The pathways of distinction are designed for students who desire to pursue a specific career path. This program requires a humble, dedicated approach to learning to not only build a foundation of knowledge but also cultivate the work ethic to be successful in their future career. Those who pursue this path will be molded into diligent, inspired adults who approach the future with amazement and wonder at the ever-evolving technologies tied to their future. The students who graduate from a pathway will be inspired, lifelong learners who are resilient due to the rigorous challenges they have mastered along their journey.

The Eden Engineering program at Madison Academy strives to inspire students to discover a call to participate in the stewarding of God’s creation through the avenue of engineering.  Our program seeks to help frame the worldview of our students, in particular how they view a career, by instilling a sense of wonder and humility as they approach God’s creation and the opportunity to partner with Him to work the Garden (Genesis 2:15).  From a healthy foundation and with a biblical view of work, students will then be prepared and equipped to succeed in the programs that make them eligible for careers in engineering.  Students will be challenged and asked to demonstrate diligence as they are held accountable to the standard of excellence put forth by the courses in the program.  In facing rigorous problems and subjects, students will be asked to show resilience and commitment to the program's vision.  Upon completing the program, our students will have taken full ownership of their ambition to serve God’s kingdom excellently as an engineer.

Our graduates are…

  • Inspired
  • Developing a Sense of Wonder and Humility
  • Diligent
  • Resilient
  • Eager/Ambitious
