Our 2nd grade students celebrated Dot Day on Friday! This is a day to celebrate bravery, courage, and creativity. The students joined Peter H. Reynolds live from Boston as he read and discussed his book, The Dot. They further explored the world of dots and discussed how they plan to make their own mark and impact the lives of others through, 3D art, dot math, chromatography experiments, and writing. Great job by our second grade team providing some unique learning experiences! #MADifference

Today was the Flu Clinic for all students, faculty and staff at MA. Vaccinating Alabama Kids In Schools (owned by Huntsville Pediatric Associates) administered more than 250 flu vaccines across all three of our schools. They have been providing these vaccines for the past 7 years. Everyone was very brave, especially our Mascots Champion and Champy! Nurse Assistant Kash was on hand to give lots of hugs and kisses too. #fluclinic #stayhealthy
