The Good Life

Everyone wants to live the “good life”. Healthy human beings desire to live a life full of meaning, purpose, and significance. But how does one live that kind of life? Where is the “good life” found? And who can give us wisdom in how to attain the quality of life we were created for? In a culture that overwhelms us with explicit and implicit messages on what the “good life” is and how it can be accessed, students and adults alike can be overwhelmed and confused at the number of choices on offer.

This year, the Spiritual Formation team at MA desires to bring clarity to the confusion by focusing on the “good life” offered to us through Jesus of Nazareth. Once we understand the story of God’s amazing love, as told to us through Scripture, the “good life” comes clearly into focus and it takes the form of a human being giving up His life for us. The One who tells us that He has “come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10), also invites us to come and follow Him. The truth of Jesus’ Kingdom message is that we can begin living the “good life” today. Let the journey begin!
