Madison Academy was recognized last night in Baltimore, Maryland for meeting the standards of the National Christian School Association for accreditation. The award was presented at the Association's annual meeting.
Dr. Misty Overman, Principal of Greater Atlanta Christian's high school, who performed the evaluation of Madison Academy, is pictured above with Board Chairman Dane Richardson, President Robert Burton, and Elementary Principal Carmelita Burton. In her evaluation remarks about Madison Academy, Dr. Overman described it as one of the nation's premier Christian schools.
The NCSA is an educational association of more than 120 secondary schools in 30 states serving more than 40,000 students. Its focus on the spiritual emphases of Christian schools compliments the academic focus of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, of which Madison Academy also enjoys accreditation.
