DRAMA DEPARTMENT IN NEW YORK/files/images/enews/drama_2.jpg

As a Drama parent at Madison Academy, I was invited to accompany the Drama Thespians to the National Performing Arts Festival in New York City last week. Schools from both coasts were in attendance for performances, clinics and workshops. It was a great opportunity to practice their craft in front of an experienced cast of judges with drama, theater and Broadway experience.

The Madison Academy Drama Thespians were exemplary in performance, conduct and as ambassadors of our school. They received recognition, both individually and as a troupe, for their talents and abilities. Thank you students for the way you conducted yourselves, on and off the stage. Thank you parents/chaperones for your dedication, sacrifice and oversight in making a trip far away from home. And, thank you Max Dashner, for your boundless energy and enthusiasm for the performing arts, and the wisdom you have passed on to your students, both academically and spiritually.
