Madison Academy

MusicMAnia is a very special event for the MA community!  It is an annual production that showcases the musical talents of our students, from the youngest to the oldest!  Students are selected through a very competitive audition process.  They may use either live accompaniment or performance tracks to perform a song of their choice before 3-4 judges.  The judges take the top scores from the 1st round of auditions and these students audition again in the 2nd round.  The students are then chosen from the final round to be in the show.  Students are scored according to musical ability, song choice and entertainment value.  The variety show includes solo acts and groups, and features vocal as well as instrumental numbers.

Performers receive a special MusicMAnia Tshirt with the names of all the performers on the back.  Programs are printed that include pictures and biographies of each participant along with ads that are purchased by families, friends and businesses.

All tickets are sold at the door.  Door prizes are given away during the show and concessions are sold during intermission.

MusicMAnia began as a fundraiser for the choral department, and has developed into a treasured tradition for Madison Academy and the community!
