Madison Academy's school clothing program is called Spirit Wear. Spirit Wear is a school uniform program but Spirit Wear is unlike traditional uniform programs. Spirit Wear has a large selection of clothing for both boys and girls to allow students to express themselves but retains the benefits of a uniform program. |

Numerous studies indicate that a person's attitude and academic achievement is directly affected by his/her dress and neatness of appearance. The Spirit Wear program of school clothing is helping make Madison Academy a better place. With nicer dress, academic achievement is on the increase. Social tension has decreased. There is a greater feeling of equality. Student safety has always been a top priority at Madison Academy. Spirit Wear has improved student safety. Our Staff is able to glance across a crowd of students and determine immediately if someone doesn't belong. Finally, we believe that this will help engender an atmosphere in which the spiritual beauty within each person is what is emphasized, not what they are wearing or the brand name. |
Elementary, Middle and High School Students purchase their Spirit Wear from Educational Outfitters. Madison Academy maintains a wide selection of clothing with the MA logo with approved colors. Madison Academy's program is governed by a clothing committee which is responsible for selection and approval of all clothing worn by Madison Academy Students. This committee is made up of Faculty, Parents and Board Members.
